It's the 15th time Favre has been named either NFC or AFC Offensive Player of the Week. He has earned the award twice each of the last two seasons. Sunday was Favre's 21st four-touchdown game, matching Dan Marino for the NFL record. His 128.6 passer rating against the Packers is the fifth game in 2009 he has posted a passer rating of at least 100. In two games against his former team in 2009, Favre has passed for 515 yards and seven TDs without an interception, completing 41 of 59 (69.5%) of his passes with a 135.9 passer rating, earning the honor after both contests. |
